What a beautiful day. It was warm and sunny and one of those special "between" spring days in Colorado. It's possible we could have another 10 inches of snow tomorrow. That's what Spring is like here... you never know. It's all wonderful though... gives us all something to talk about... or complain about... but it sure is a human connector.
Had a couple of great shoots today.... a business guy at 8:30 am and then a couple of opera singers after lunch.
I'll publish the pictures in the next post, but for now I just wanted to say that I have so much fun doing what I do.
Dearly Departed is up and running.... come see it!~
Life is great!
I'm an actor, musician and photographer... all of which have led me to what I do for a living... marketing photography, or... headshots. I've developed a style and a technique over the years that works very well. People leave my studio with great results...ALWAYS. So... enjoy

Saturday shoots
We opened!!
Well, after one of the shortest rehearsal periods in the history of theater (2 weeks) we opened! There were a few rough spots, but all in all the show is still as funny and fresh as it was last time we did it. I forgot my camera again, so no pictures...sorry! You'll just have to come see it.
We've started putting on a little concert with "the Buds" after the show for those who want to stick around. I think our original concept was to stand outside the theater as the patrons arrive... kind of a pre-show concept, but so far it's been too cold for that.
Yesterday matinee, Dana (Lucille) had a rather crippling migrane headache and couldn't go on, so Laura Lounge (our assistant director) went on with book and kicked ass!! Good job, Laura!

Tech week
This is is folks! Tech Week for Dearly Departed. Pictures of this weeks rehearsals available tomorrow and days to follow...
whoops too busy remembering to bring mandolin and costumes and forgot my camera. Will bring tonight.
Last night, we didn't run the show... just the scene changes... still didn't get out of there until 10.
Tonight... dress rehearsal with our first audience. Should be interesting. This will be our first time through without stopping.

Lazy Saturday
Had all these plans for today. No shoots, so I was going to stay home and get some "chores" done. Christie was downstairs working on some stuff, so I got on the computer. That was 3 hours ago.
What a putz! I can spend more time on Facebook and blogs and email and surfing the net. Guess the garage will have to wait.... oh I took a "Photo Booth" shot of me.
